ENDURANCE, 24"W x 2.5"D x 10"H, Kiawe Sculpture

"Endurance" is a captivating wooden sculpture inspired by the organic shape of a Hawaiian Kiawe wood scrap, broken from a larger slab. Measuring 24” x 2.5” x 10”H, it showcases both polished and rough textures, highlighting the wood's natural grain for visual depth. The elongated, stylized wings and body create a sense of movement and grace, with the use of negative space adding a minimalist esthetic. Mounted on a brass rod affixed to a harmoniously treated Hawaiian Kiawe base, the sculpture feels suspended in animation.
